Biography:
Troy Earl (T-Roy) Austin Nov 21 1985 Born in San Bernardino ca, at San Bernardino hospital. "I attended Eisenhower High and Ambassador Christian and graduated in 2003. when I was just two years old my mother was murdered and the case is still unsolved. My mother and father left for a trip, and my mother never came back. She was found weeks later, strangled to death near some railroad tracks. My father rarely showed his face after she passed and eventually disappeared. My grandmother and Aunts made sure my siblings and I were raised in the church. All of my other siblings and I sang in the choir and as I got older, I started learning how to play the piano from my uncle. He was the keyboard player in his band. I remember they would have rehearsals in our garage, and when they would finish, I would sneak in and play on his equipment, until one day he found me and taught me to play. As I improved, I began playing for the church.
As a teenager, I was lived with my Grandma, Aunt and Uncle. My aunt and uncle saw that music was much more than just my passion, so they let me build a low budget studio in their garage. That’s when I started producing my own songs and songs for local artists. Soon I had made a name for myself locally. After hearing some of the music I had been producing for friends and neighbors, My aunt told me that I should seriously consider pursuing a career in music and suggested I go to school for music. Right then, I decided to apply to American Intercontinental University to pursue media arts and recording engineering. I submitted my music and AIU instantly granted me a scholarship. I began studying and taking classes for recording arts, engineering, film and audio production. While enrolled at the institute, I also served as an intern for several established recording engineers and producers in Los Angeles California. Soon I went from interning to actually engineering for major producers such as cavie, and Duane Da Roc Ramos. After AIU I continued to learn more from other producers and musicians I worked with. To this day, I continue to study and learn from other great producers, engineers and artists and blend their styles and techniques into my own. I developed the majority of my talent by learning from the people around me, and experimenting in the studio.
The person that inspires me the most is my grandmother because she is supportive and understanding. I wake up everyday go because I want to give back to my mom (grandma) and give her everything she deserves.
